2001 CABERNET FRANC RESERVE - Santa Ynez Valley

Our 2001 Cabernet Franc Reserve hails from Adam Firestone’s Rock Hollow vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley, where conditions are optimal for this classic Bordeaux varietal. Our first bottling of Cabernet Franc Reserve since the 1997 vintage, this wine showcases the excellence of the 2001 growing season and the characteristic intensity of the Rock Hollow fruit. A bouquet of cassis, coffee and spice anticipates rich, striking flavors of cherry, blackberry and cedar. The flavors are layered across a full, balanced palate, unfolding with firm, chalky tannins into a lingering finish.
