Our Santa Ynez Valley wines hail from our estate vineyards with contributions from select neighboring vineyards in Santa Barbara County. The Firestone estate is uniquely situated on a series of rocky mesas in the heart of the valley. Here, well-drained soils and an extended growing season contribute to the ripening of exquisitely balanced and flavorful grapes. The imprint of the estate is integral to the character and individuality of these wines. 

2006 Sauvignon Blanc – Santa Ynez Valley

Sauvignon Blanc excels at our estate in the Santa Ynez Valley, where growing conditions are optimal for showcasing the varietal’s bright, expressive character. The 2006 vintage offers lively aromas of pear, honeysuckle and citrus. The palate is crisp and refreshing, with mineral flavors of kiwi, passion fruit and lemongrass that conclude with a quenching finish. We blend Chardonnay from our own estate vineyards with fruit from the neighboring Santa Maria Valley to achieve a wine of dimension and complexity. The 2006 vintage starts with integrated aromas of citrus, butterscotch and toasty vanilla. Luscious tropical fruit flavors unfold with accents of crisp apple and caramel. 2006 Gewürztraminer – Santa Ynez Valley

Our 2006 Gewürztraminer hails from the Carranza Mesa block of our estate in the Santa Ynez Valley. Here, the elevated terrain’s well-drained soils encourage flavor intensity while coastal breezes nurture the varietal’s distinctive qualities. The 2006 vintage begins with pure aromas of lilac, tangerine and grapefruit zest. A beautifully weighted palate offers tangy flavors of pear, Mandarin orange and litchi with a hint of spice. 2004 Syrah – Santa Ynez Valley

Our 2004 Syrah was harvested entirely from the Firestone Vineyard estate in the Santa Ynez Valley. It offers deep black fruit aromas with hints of caramel, vanilla and juniper berry. A full, juicy texture unfolds with flavors of blackberry and raspberry while a subtle smoky quality adds complexity to the palate. 2004 Merlot – Santa Ynez Valley

Our Merlot hails from the Firestone estate and select neighboring vineyards in the Santa Ynez Valley. The 2004 vintage was aged in French oak barrels for 21 months and blended with a small complement of Cabernet Franc for enhanced structure. It boasts complex aromas of cherry, mocha and nutmeg spice. The palate is round and soft, with supple flavors of black cherry, plum and vanilla that unfold into a long, balanced finish.
