James joined Firestone Family Estates in April, 2005 as Western
Regional Manager with nine years in the wine industry. He began his career as a wholesale distributor rep in Boulder, Colorado and has spent the last six years on the supplier side of the business representing wineries from all corners of the world, most recently with Champagne Veuve Clicquot.
"I am very pleased to be part of the Firestone team. I have found that the most exciting and rewarding times in my career have been those when I worked with and in family-owned organizations," James says. "A higher level of passion and personal involvement exists throughout family-owned companies like this one, and it shows not only in the wines but in Firestone's business philosophy as a whole."
A native of Western Colorado, James now resides in Castle Rock (near Denver) with his wife, Nancie, and their dog, Imogene.
