Sommelier Billie Rolla will lead a group of wine enthusiasts in “Gleek Like a Wine Geek: Understanding Acidity in Wine” that includes a lab activity, small group conversation, and of course, wine!
Summer is around the corner, and it’s time to discover those beautiful, refreshing, high-acid wines that pair so well with the beach, friends, summer barbecue, and food! What makes these summer greats shine: some bright, sun-shining acidity of course. In this wine lab, we will learn how to identify and describe acid in wine and explore why high-acid wines pair so well with food. This Wine Lab is a great choice to prepare for The Art & Science of Food and Wine Pairing coming in the fall.
