AROMAS & FLAVORS
Alluring aromas of black cherries, dark plum and violets best describe our estate Petit Verdot. Your palate will be delighted with notes of blueberries, pipe tobacco and barrel spices. This wine is rich with firm tannins and a long finish.
FOOD PAIRINGS
This wine’s lush tannins and bold flavors will complement a variety of dark BBQ meats and heavy tomato-based sauces, such as Bolognese.
VINTAGE
2016 was a vintage of both high quality and quantity of fruit. We had an early bud break, which began in the third week of February and a warm spring that led to slightly earlier bloom. Summer temperatures were mild and warm resulting in a good fruit set and average yields. We harvested all the fruit between August 23 – October 8, 2016. Our earliest harvest to date.
