AROMAS & FLAVORS

This wine is alluring and sophisticated, with Petit Verdot, Malbec, and Merlot making up the final blend. On the nose, roasted spiced plum pie with hints of espresso, vanilla and toasty oak intermingle creating a mouthwatering aroma. Layers of dense flavors mimic the bouquet with strong support from a perfectly balanced tannin-acid structure.

FOOD PAIRINGS

Pair Lineage with main course attractions like New York steak, filet mignon, short ribs or venison.

VINTAGE

2019 had a robust amount of rain during the winter, ending Santa Barbara County’s drought. We had early bud break with a mild spring and summer. Our first pick was September 11th. There was a short heat spike in early September which lasted about one week, then we were back to consistent, mild weather again, allowing us to pick each block at the optimum time. The vineyard was completely picked by November 11th.
